Synopsis

Fragments of family photographs become signs of disparity, similarities and discontinuities in the folds of memory, where stories carried in the fleeting images are only an echo of the emotions of captured moments and faces and the collection of memories dissolves into the uncertain contours of events and impressions.

Biography

Taiwanese director Lin Tay-Jou (1968) moves between documentary and staged films, and has made a number of experimental films. He became known for his works Landscape in the Dream (1996) and A Place of Work for Myself (1999).
