Meeting and networking platform for film festival representatives

Festival Identity is focused on creating common platform for festival representatives where they could meet, exchange thoughts and ideas and develop a multinational and multicultural network of festival communities. One of the key events of the Jihlava Industry programme, the Festival Identity hosted representatives of festivals in Venice, Marseille, Lyon, Palm Springs, Ann Arbor, Toronto, Munich, Bratislava, Krakow, and Istanbul. The workshop creates a platform for sharing experiences in, for example, defining festival profiles, fundraising challenges or film selection strategies as well as for discussing themes that connect festivals and thus promote cooperation between them.

The program of Festival Identity included lectures, discussions and focused meetings. The participants introduced their respective festivals at the public presentation Festival Hub 2012. The Hub had been organized according to PechaKucha presentation format: Each participant had a limited time of 400 seconds to present 20 visuals.
