My Street Films

During the three years of its existence, My Street Films has established itself as a major educational project that inspires interested members of the public to make short films, thereby sharing in the creation of a unique memory of our cities – online audiovisual maps

The uniqueness of this project lies in its openness. In a time when nearly all of us have a mobile phone in one pocket and a digital camera in the other, we are all potential film directors. This educational program supports those interested in audiovisual creation with a national competition for best film, as well as other activities: from long-term individual consultations to open seminars to intensive practical workshops. The My Street Films project is taking place in all four Visegrad countries and Ukraine. The Jihlava IDFF presents the winning films from the Czech and Ukraine competitions for best film sent to the online film map.
